10 photo sessions. 
That is how many times I've been lucky enough to photograph this family. 

With 3 kids in under 5 years, it's been a joy to photograph baby bumps, newborns and milestone sessions as this family has grown. 

For their third baby we decided to mix things up a bit and head outside for the maternity session. We hit up Edmonton's Mill Creek Ravine on a sweltering August evening to walk the paths and toss rocks into the creek. When there are young kids involved, having a photo session that has tons of movement and things to do is a the key to keeping everyone happy. We stop very few times for 'posed' photos. Even when I was doing Mom's more posed maternity photos, the kids were running around behind me in the grassy field. 

Then, when baby Sienna arrived, we did a newborn session in their Sherwood Park home. Again, tons of breaks for the siblings and time for them to play while I did newborn portraits of Sienna alone. 

We then met up again when Sienna was 6 months old and 12 months old for short milestone sessions.
