Twins. OH MY GOODNESS, if you’re a parent of twins you get all my respect. Bringing a baby home is NO joke, but 2 at once? Holy smokes it’s a lot of work and I bet it’s also utterly exhausting (just ask these lovely humans who weren’t getting much sleep!). But, the flip side of that is there’s just a ton of cuddles, instant brotherly connections, and a lot more high fives when you realize that you had a parenting win.

Jack and Cal spent time in the NICU and so we waited until they were home and really settled before we scheduled their newborn session. The boys were 2 months old, but to me, it’s always more important to have your photo session when everyone is happy and in a bit of routine instead of rushing through it and not feeling comfortable.

Before the session, Jack + Cal’s mom had told me that they were people who really liked having fun and weren’t overly sappy, so I worked on capturing that within their session and in their slideshow song.
