This is Katie.

She’s the person I text a zillion times a day with random work things (and non-work things…..like….”Are these jeans too baggy? I know wide jeans are in but are they this in?” 🙈).

She’s the person who gently says “Kelly, did you follow up with….?”.

She’s the person who 100% gets me when I send a photo her way and say, “but does it look a tiny bit too yellow??”

She’s the person who sends back funny/calming memes when I say to her “Lord help me, I’ve eaten an entire bag of pretzels and 12.6 cups of coffee today and I think I’m spiralling and when will I ever catch up??”.

She also somehow thinks I’m funny and decent to work for, even after all of the above.

More officially, Katie is the new Studio Manager at Fiddle Leaf Photography.

For the past few months, Katie, has been working on many behind the scenes things (like transitioning my client management system – seriously…….what a t.a.s.k. 🙄) that she is able to do much more efficiently than I am. She’s also the main contact for all school photos – sending out all of the documents and answering any of your questions about how to order, etc.

Aside from being my new right hand, Katie is also a wife, a mom to 4 (and to a dog named Pickle), an IT wizard, an Ardrossan resident, and is a very talented photographer herself (one day I will convince her that getting behind the camera with me is the way to go!). I’ve known her for many years and am so happy that when I asked if she’d be able to put up with me as a work partner, she said “yes”.

If you have an upcoming session with me, you might hear from Katie somewhere along the way. Know that she’s ON IT and she’ll do everything she can to make sure you have the best experience possible.
